She is Bangalore city’s most unlikely designers. Having a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Diploma in Interior Design, BhuviKilpady moved on to combine all that she is and all that she has absorbed for the cause of fashion designing.
Bhuvi has a very keen aesthetic taste, not just to fashion, but to all things artistic. Passionate about the preservation of skills, she has a dedicated team of embroiders and tailors which gives her that cutting edge when it comes to combining different types of fabric, and playing with colors has been her forte.
For the last 10 years, her entire body of work epitomised under the label of “MAPLE”, and has striven to ensure its survival by making it relevant to traditional fashion.
A contemporary designer with modern sensibility, she infuses life into the fabric she works on. The style is distinctively individualistic, simple and deeply rooted in Indian Traditional form.
She very keenly designs the clothes after paying close attention to the customer’s personal outlook and behaviour. “We use the skills we’ve honed for a decade, and we breathe life into inanimate cloth. We’ve attempted to emulate the beautiful magic that nature performs around us each day; we hope you wear our creations with pride.”-says Bhuvi.
